About NZBaker

Our Story

NZBaker started from a passion for baking and cake decorating.

After years working as a baker, I decided to turn that passion into a small business creating custom cakes for local celebrations.

With the support of my wife Litisha and our sons Vincent and Zakk, NZBaker grew into a small home-based business making cakes for families across Hamilton and the Waikato.

Today I continue to create cakes designed to suit each customer’s theme, colors and celebration.

About the Baker

Hi, I’m Alex — the baker behind NZBaker.

I run NZBaker from my home kitchen in Hamilton, creating custom cakes for birthdays, celebrations and special occasions. I enjoy designing cakes that match each customer’s theme and bringing their ideas to life.

Outside of baking I also enjoy photography and run a small photography project called Halvz Photography. Because of this, I often take professional photos of the cakes I create, and many customers receive a high-quality photo of their cake a few days after pickup.
